Meet Princess Coreil: Meet The Minor Players in “The Wall of Night” Series

USA
The “Meet the Minor Players” post features the minor characters in The Wall Of Night series. One of the reasons for posting this series is because the major characters always get featured and discussed, but: —
“I think it’s the presence of the smaller characters that (also) “makes” a story, creating texture around the main points of view.”
~ Helen Lowe (from my Legend Award Finalist’s Interview)
Initially, the series focused exclusively on characters from The Heir of Night, but now I’m continuing on with minor characters from both The Gathering Of The Lost and Daughter of Blood — in alphabetical order, by name, of course!

Princess Coreil: head of the Coreil, a major merchant clan of Ij, in the River lands
“It was quite a gathering,” agreed Tarathan. “I saw Count Ambard bail you up as soon as Princess Coreil had finished exchanging pleasantries.”
“He did. Where the Athiri lead, the Coreil, and now it seems the Ambardi as well, will follow … ” Jehane Mor shook her head. “Although neither the count nor the princess had anything particular to say.”

Hi Helen – it’s with respect and gratitude that I ask this question: “When will book 4 be finished?” I’ve read through the first three books available multiple times and sooooooo look forward to the fourth. Thanks for responding.
Many greetings, Atrayah.
I have been reflecting on your question and how to answer it. Firstly, as I mentioned last Monday, I am always very conscious of how long readers (and my publisher!) have been waiting for completion of the WALL series. I also very much appreciate—and certainly never take for granted—readers’ appreciation for and commitment to the series.
So please be assured that my reply is written in that spirit of appreciation and respect. However, there is no easy answer. The truth, however difficult for both of us, is that “it will be done when it’s done.”
So much as I would like to, I can’t give you a ‘when.’ I can only reiterate that I am doing my utmost to get the story finished as soon as possible. And also restate, as per my most recent update, that Part 1, in a book of two very distinct halves, is now done, and I have good hope that Part 2, being more intact from the get-go, will progress a great deal more quickly. (Although I did find it a tad difficult to type that last sentence, because all my fingers were crossed!)
Atrayah, I really am very sorry for your long wait. But I have promised to post here (on the blog) when each section in Part 2 is done, which I shall do, and I will let you know immediately the whole revision is complete.
