New on Supernatural Underground for 2026 – A Year of Heroines in Fantasy

Yep that’s right — it’s not only a new year but time for a new post series on the Supernatural Underground, and this year’s theme in Heroines, mainly in fantasy literature though I may do a sidestep into science fiction from time to time. Who knows? The only to find out is to follow the magical mystery tour. 😀
It’s not just heroines though. To celebrate getting a manuscript to Harper Voyager, I am not only highlighting a favourite character from a loved book or series, but featuring a heroine from the WALL series as well.
Starting with Malian, of course—and her companion heroines for the first post are Aerin, from Robin McKinley’s The Hero and the Crown, and Elfrid, of Ru Emerson’s The Princess of Flames fame.
