What’s Coming Up: WORDChristchurch & More
Firstly, thank you to The Wall of Night reader, Kristen Blount, for a wonderful guest post on the series’ character, Raven, whom she dubbed an “international man of mystery.”
The next in this mini series will be coming up on Friday 19, this time courtesy of Paul Weimer, who has visited with me here before and whom you may also know from SF Signal and The Skiffy and Fanty show.
WORDChristchurch — Next Week!
Also coming up — and only next week now — is the WORDChristchurch festival with a wonderful line up of books and writing, reading and writing events, including the Making It Overseas panel I’m on with fellow writers Ben Sanders (Crime) and Tania Roxborough (YA; historical). We’re all published overseas and crime author Vanda Symon will be talking to us about the journey. Here are the details again:
When: Sunday 28 August, 3-4 pm
Where: The Box, The Piano — 156 Armagh Street, Central City (near the Isaac Theatre Royal)
The Inaugural National Writers’ Forum — Next Month
This very exciting event is to be held in Auckland on 17-18 September and I am delighted to be giving a Masterclass on “Building Fantastic Worlds” — right up my alley, one might say. 😉
I posted the initial press release here and you can link here to the programme.
