The Hakatere aka Ashburton River
Just for a change of scene (literally 😉 ) I thought I’d share a few pics of the mouth of the Hakatere, aka Ashburton River — one of Canterbury’s famous braided rivers.
And here it is, the braided look to the left and river mouth below…

And tonight it’s the end of daylight saving here, which I guess makes it official: it’s autumn.
