So I guess there’s hope for me yet, when it comes to writing! 😀
And I do agree that the more one writes, putting effort and thought into it, and consciously striving to improve, then by and large, improvement does follow.
As a reader, though, I’ve never really thought of it as something I do to improve — but I imagine that if any reader pursues books that stretch comprehension of language and ideas, then one’s capacity to read deeply will grow.
