About The Characters: Meet Rhanar in “The Wall Of Night” Series

This “About the Characters” posts focus on the less prominent characters, and also outright bit players (), in The Wall Of Night series. Chiefly, because it’s usually the major characters that get all the spotlight and discussion, but:

“I think it’s the presence of the smaller characters that (also) “makes” a story, creating texture around the main points of view.”

Initially, the series focused exclusively on characters from The Heir of Night, but now I’m continuing on with minor characters from both The Gathering Of The Lost and Daughter of Blood — in alphabetical order, by name, of course!

Rhanar: a House of Blood honor guard

The wyr pack split up of its own accord, with a pair loping after each of the scouting parties while the remaining seven stayed with Kalan. “They like you, Storm Spear,” Rhanar observed, his tone suggesting this was not necessarily a recommendation.
