News From The WALL #4 Front
It’s been three months since I pressed send on the WALL #4 manuscript (aka The Chaos Gate), then posted on the process from that point — and it’s good news! The manuscript has been accepted for edit and is with the editor now. π

I believe the tunnel’s end may be in sight:)
By way of fair warning, there’s likely to be a reasonably long period now without substantive news. But going to edit is another, major step along the road to publication day — although there won’t be a firm date for that until after the edit is complete and the “final acceptance” box checked off.

Heading for 4…
Needless to say, I am very happy to have reached the edit stage. π And although it also means more work ahead, I aim to enjoy the lull while waiting for the editor’s notes to arrive — the first such lull in quite some time: #JustSaying

Not quite “life’s a beach”, but a moment of calm.

Congratulations!!
Thank you! It does feel like a win. π
Well done. Another hurdle cleared
Yes, indeed! π
Congratulations. Enjoy the moment while you can, before the manuscript comes back to you (in case there is more work). All the best for the rest of the process. Can’t wait to get my hands on the end product.
There will definitely be more work. π That is the nature of edits, so I would be worried if there wasn’t! It is nice, for sure, to have a lull — but not too long, because to you and others the book must be got. (Channeling my inner Yoda.) π
