List Mania: “The Heir of Night” & “The Gathering of the Lost” Both Get Mentions
The new year period is always the time for List Mania and I’m pleased to say that although I and my books are still “very new” in the great world of reading and literature, The Heir of Night (The Wall of Night Book One) and The Gathering of the Lost (The Wall of Night Book Two) both got mentions.
First out of the blocks was The Heir of Night, which got a very nice mention on Abhinav Jain’s blog in his Best of the Best Part 2 for 2012. Abhinav also reviewed Heir for The Founding Fields blog earlier in the year.
And both The Heir of Night and The Gathering of the Lost get a mention on Tim Jones’ Books in the Trees blog, as part of his round-up of “The 52 Books I Read in 2012: Part 2”: Tim is kind enough to give both books 4.5/5 stars and describe The Heir of Night as “well worth reading” & The Gathering of the Lost as “impressive.”
Thanks Abhinav and Tim: your enthusiasm helps keep me enthusiastic.
Woo!!
I felt it was worth a mention.:)
Thanks, Helen. I’m looking forward to having more volumes to read, list and discuss!
I am certainly working away on that ‘even as we speak.’ 🙂
Great stuff! Good start to your new year. 🙂
I agree! Happy New Year to you too, Marion.:)
