Thornspell is my first novel and is published by Knopf (Random House Children's Books, USA). It won the Sir Julius Vogel Award 2009 for Best Novel: Young Adult and was a Storylines Childrens' Literature Trust Notable Book 2009.
Wow, now I have to read snow queen – because your other two author/book choices showed such impeccable good taste and I’ve never quite got round to reading it.
Alicia, I think it’s a “top read”, one which stands on its own but is also part of a ‘loose’ trilogy, Worlds End and The Summer Queen. But for me, The Snow Queen is the standout book.
