The Edit Is Done!
Earlier today I posted: “And if Iβm really lucky, Iβll be able to come back to you later today to tell you that the tweaks are all present and correct and the edit is done: oh blessed words.”
Well, now I can confirm that the tweaks are all present and correct and the edit is done: the “send” button has been pressed. Another frabjous day. π
It’s been a very long—and frequently winding!— road but the journey of a thousand miles ends as it began, with one step; or in the case of a writer, one word on the page until we come to the final line:
“…the page on the desk
is blank, the pen
a burden to the hand β
she lifts it
draws in breath
β¦β¦β¦β¦..will again
until the final line.”

Congratulations !
Here’s to a nice long summer holiday for you.
I look forward to reading the new book next year.
Huzzah Hurrah Hurray!
My thanks to both of you for your encouragement and support. π
That’s great news! Congratulations! π
Thank you.:)
HOORAY!! Best news for the new year! Looking forward to reading it.
As I am looking forward to seeing it in your hands! π
Yahooooooo! I’m here very late but no less chuffed than the rest of your guests (who have hung their hoods up in the hall, I see.)
Now: a well deserved rest, I hope. What a journey it has been.
Hoods in the hall–very apt! π
And thank you, a journey indeed it has been. (Feeling Yoda-ish, sorry!)
